As the resolution is indigenous SVGA that is generally related to business or the school room, it would appear that it’s being paid for home cinema too.

The InFocus X1 is really a normal SVGA resolution (800×600) projector that includes the newest 0. 55″ DLP chip from Texas Instruments. It’s rated at a maximum of 1000 ANSI lumens of brightness and 2000: 1 contrast, and functions Faroudja DCDi video digesting technology.

The X1 uses a four-segment RGBW color wheel revolving at 2x speed. However, InFocus has been doing something distinctive here. In movie and video mode, the white segment is placed to off, or black, to be able to decrease light output and enhance color saturation. In presentation mode, the white section is on and the X1 provides much more brightness and punch. The 1000 ANSI lumen rating applies only to the unit’s output in presentation mode. Getting rid of the white segment cuts lumen output by more than 50%.
